Asian Customs for Weddings

If you are planning an Eastern wedding custom, there are many lovely customs to pick from. These rituals, which have thousands of years of historical roots, are intended to unite people, families, and friends.

In a classic Korean festival, the bride and groom don hanboks, which are colourful, portable fabrics without wallets. While orange hanboks represent knowledge, red ones stand for purity and loyalty. The partners may also decide to don a black or white hanbok. Numerous rituals are performed during the kunbere service, which is held at the home temple. Among them are toasts from guests and family members, band exchanges, and the couple’s vows.

Reputable older females assist the bride and groom in tying their hair with colorful cotton threads before the meeting. The bride and groom are therefore presented with two flower seedlings or two dried times as they are led to the household temple by a procession of female family. After that, a family member serves them drink that has been poured into tumblers and fastened with crimson wire. The pair next kneels three days in adoration of heaven, their parents, and their ancestors. Then comes a dinner.
